One of the most popular desserts in the world - chocolate brownie with a moist midway - was coined in 1893 in the kitchen of the legendary Palmer Hotel in Chicago. I have seen this recepy recently and I tried to do this at home and it turned out very yummy and delicious. In one word, it's awesoooome. If you want something sweet and chocolate you should try this out. You won't regret, I promise....
So what do you need?
Roast the walnuts for 3 minutes and let them cool.
Melt the butter and chocolate ( in microwave or in bowl over steam)
Beat the eggs and stir in sugar in a separate bowl.
Then mix it all well until it is incorporated.
Once that's all mixed in, add in the dry ingredients (flour, walnuts, salt). Walnuts need to be grinded.
Try not to over-mix so it stays nice and gooey.
Transfer the mix into a lined or greased pan. Pop it in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is shiny. (The toothpick should be a little bit wet, that it should not be baked through.) Leave it to completely cool on the side before chopping up into squares.
Finally, dust with a bit of icing sugar, and enjoy!
